Cheeba Chews product line, I was most excited for an opportunity to review the original chocolate taffy products. I personally decided to start out with the Hybrid variety, whereas Matt reviewed the Sativa chew.
Cheeba Chews: Gluten Free, Cannabis Infused Chocolate Taffy
It’s no secret that I love to see edible companies taking the care to make products for patients with special dietary restrictions. Sure enough, this is part of the reason that I was drawn to Cheeba Chews in the first place – they are gluten free and peanut free according to the company website.
I would still like to pursue a healthier recipe that excludes corn syrup from the equation as well, but I’ve certainly seen much worse options for the health conscious medical marijuana patient.
According to their website, each quad-dose Cheeba contains 70 milligrams of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), and is made with the following ingredients:
- Sugar (5 grams)
- Corn Syrup
- Soybean Oil
- Natural Flavorings
- Marijuana THC Extract (hash)
How Will The Quad-Dose Chews Affect Me?
At first glance, it’s hard to think of the Cheeba chocolate taffy as much more than a cannabis-infused Tootsie Roll. However, just one bite of the Chews shows that their is more to be considered. The taste is best described as a mixture of Tootsie Rolls, cannabis, and a lingering taste of tooth paste.
